We are extremely happy and proud to present to you Wave Alchemy’s first ever Producer Contest! We have been working together behind the scenes with a collective of the best companies in the business to bring you a contest with over £5000 ($8000) worth of prizes for the lucky winners!
The official start date for the contest is 24/10/2014 with the closing date set for 21/11/2014.
The idea is simple – we are giving away a free 1GB sample pack which you can download here (right-click save as PC or ctrl + click MAC). Once you have downloaded the pack you have until 21/11/2014 to produce the best track you can with the supplied sounds…
Entrants should ‘make good use’ of the supplied free Wave Alchemy samples, sounds and effects. We encourage entrants to be creative with the supplied free sounds; to process, re-arrange, cut and manipulate them to create an original piece of music. Along with the supplied sounds we very much encourage you to create original melodies, parts and patterns using synthesizers, drum machines, effects processors, and any of your own sounds / samples that you own a licence for. Any genre or musical style is welcome. Be creative!
To qualify for entry you must list the names of the free Wave Alchemy samples / loops you have used in the description box for the track in Soundcloud (see How to Enter below).
