Waves V12

Revered software developer Waves has introduced Version 12 of its plug-in range. The highlights include window resizing, swift preset browsing and Retina-ready graphic interfaces, as well as free plug-ins added to Platinum, Horizon and Diamond premium bundles.

The new features come at the request of Waves users, who will now be able to take advantage of five GUI sizes for their plug-ins. This maxes out at 200 per cent of the original size, with the ability to set and save default sizes for each plug-in.

Waves V12 preset browser helps speeds up your workflow with text searching, filters and preset auditioning. With auditioning, you can tweak your plug-in and find the perfect patch with ease, all whilst your track is playing. Retina-ready graphics across the Waves range will give you smoother displays and reduce CPU load by processing plug-in graphics on your graphics card.

Three bonus plug-ins are given to owners of the Waves Platinum, Horizon, Diamond bundles. This includes LoAir, Submarine and the Smack Attack transient shaper. Updating to V12 will also ensure your plug-ins are future proof and compatible with the latest operating systems and DAWs.

The free update is available for users on the Waves Update Plan. Find out more at waves.com
