Get this Volca Drum sample pack and contribute to anti-racism organisations
Sales proceeds from the pack go towards Emancipate North Carolina
Wavparty has curated a new sample pack comprising sounds designed on Korg’s Volca Drum. And for this week, its creator has announced that 100% of sales will go towards Emancipate NC – a non-profit organisation in support of racial justice in North Carolina.
Like wavparty’s previous release, Busted Fake Oh 8, this sample pack is once again chock full of sounds both wonderful and wild – this time, involving the “impossibly deep kicks”, “disco toms” and “alien bleeps and bloops” crafted within the Volca Drum’s powerful drum synthesis engine. Hear it in action below.
Music-makers can get this sample pack either through wavparty’s website for $10 – or showing support to racial justice causes by: making a donation to a charity of your choice or attending a protest and sending a selfie to the sample pack’s creator.
Included in the pack are:
- 40 drum loops
- 38 snares
- 35 melodic sounds (tuned to C)
- 30 kick drums (14 tuned to C)
- 30 hi-hats
- 22 percussion sounds
- 10 cymbals
The sample pack also includes 16 Ableton Live instruments and is wavparty’s first to feature sounds in both 24 bit, 48kHz and 16 bit, 44.1kHz wav.
