Arturia Competition

Arturia is running a video competition in celebration of its 20th anniversary, giving music technologists the opportunity to win a trip to a party in the French Alps and leave with a bunch of Arturia gear. Also up for grabs in the Sound Explorers competition is software bundles and a six-month Analog Lab license for all entrants.

The French hardware and software creator is requesting all participants to publish a one-minute video outlining how Arturia has “helped you become a sound explorer”, the company says. Entrants are encouraged to push their creative boundaries and post across social media using #Arturia20 and @arturia.

The trip to France, which is the grand prize, includes travel and accommodation costs paid for, with the visit taking place at Arturia HQ in Grenoble. Ten runners-up will receive a mysterious “exclusive new bundle” according to Arturia. The six-month Analog Lab license gives participants access to software emulations of 30 classic instruments that are performance- and production-friendly.

To formally enter the competition, entrants are required to upload the video to Arturia’s website at the end of a survey. It’s also a necessity to include the aforementioned tags on either Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or YouTube. The competition ends on 31 March 2020, and participants must have submitted their video URL via the link provided and formally entered the competition.

Arturia says its “Your Experience, Your Sound” tagline has now been updated to “The Sound Explorers”, marking the company’s new focus and direction that has developed over the years. It has always been the company’s ambition to reward the curious, to encourage everyone to create music, and to allow adventurous musicians the chance to truly explore their sound, and find something totally new and unique to them.

Arturia would like to share your musical journey with the world, to celebrate its 20th anniversary, and inspire others to become sound explorers.”
