Reason Rack Logic

One of the distinctive attributes to come from Reason Studio’s latest upgrade to Reason 11 was the Reason Rack. The game-changing feature allows us to now use the best bits of Reason in almost any DAW.

Thankfully, that list of compatible DAWs has now expanded thanks to Apple AudioUnit support in Reason 11.1, meaning Logic Pro X users can take advantage of some of the powerful synths and effects Reason 11 has to offer. On top of this, Apple fans will be even more pleased to hear that Reason 11.1 is now compatible with macOS Catalina.

Mattias Häggström Gerdt, Reason Studios Product Manager says “with Reason 11 we wanted to make sure anyone could harness the power of the Reason Rack in a way that works for them: as a self-contained environment or a super-powered plugin. The release of Reason Rack Plugin as an AU is the next step on this journey, opening the doors for users of Logic Pro X and many other hosts on macOS. Now more musicians than ever can join the multitude who already love using Reason to make music”.

Reason 11.1 is available for free at the Reason Studios website, and also includes other improvements and bug fixes. Find out more at reasonstudios.com
