In terms of style, there’s a fair bit of variety, including folk, blues, funk and pop influences, and all the riffs are expertly played with tight and clear performances. On the production side, the recordings are quite close and dry so they can be easily mixed, although we found that some of the loops felt like they’d been artificially cut off in volume, possibly via a gate.

That said, it’s quite subtle and not a major issue, and overall, there are plenty of inspiring riffs that could easily form the backbone of a TV music cue, or indeed a track in many a genre.
