Review: Loopmasters Late Night Blues
The style and production is fairly safe and clean, but there are plenty of useful loops and riffs here to help build a blues track.

Taking its influence from a range of classic blues styles, this pack from Loopmasters contains just over 1GB of 24-bit audio in a choice of formats, including 56 sampler patches. You’ll find some surprisingly heavy drum loops, alongside electric bass, rhythm and lead guitars, electric piano, organs, percussion and even the odd flute riff.
Everything here has quite a clean sound, which is good if you’re wanting to add your own character, or if you need pristine elements to use in a media production. However, if you’re after a more authentic, retro blues sound, then there are other options available that might get you there quicker. Musically, the playing is excellent, although the content is fairly safe and predictable. To round things off, there’s a decent collection of instrument and drum one-shots and multis, including some useful hits in different chord shapes.
