Psytrance has been around for many years, but it’s not that often that we see a quality psy sample pack cropping up. This latest from Loopmasters is looking to fit the bill, with 343 loops and 723 one-shots with a whole load of playable sampler instruments.

The loops cover all manor of fast-paced, bass and synth sequences, with filtered, morphing arpeggios and gated leads, alongside zap sound loops, some deep pads and atmospheres, and some well-programmed beats and top loops to boot.

On the one-shot front, you’ll find some decent bass and synth sounds, plus a handful of tight drums, and plenty of heavily effected, robot sounding vocal phrases.

There are also 28 multi-sampled bass and synth sounds to round off the package. A lot of the content has been heavily EQ’d to give a super tight sound, but this works well with the punchy, staccato riffs.
