Producer Bushwacka! is no stranger to the world of club music. His career has taken him from the acid warehouse raves of the late-1980s to recent remixes, releases and even a single on Ultra Records. Now, he has teamed up with Loopmasters to create an eclectic pack that includes sub-heavy basses, futuristic synth riffs, old-school breaks, rave pianos, funk flutes, lively arpeggios and more.
The production is characterful throughout, with a thick, warm and often saturated sound. It might have been more flexible if the drum loops were split into layers and it’s a shame there are no one-shots included, as the sound design is excellent. But these qualms aside, this is a superb pack with a lot of well-crafted content.
