Loopmasters’ latest combines rollings breaks, swelling pads and powerful modern basslines inspired by such artists as Enei, Skeptical, and Alix Perez. The174bpm loops include tight, crisp and punchy drums alongside moody pads, synths and arps. The best part of the pack is perhaps the pulsating bass loops, which blend weighty sub-bass frequencies with considered use of pitch, movement and saturation.

You’ll also find 142 one-shots and 10 multi-shots that cover some spectacular effects, bass and synth sounds, plus kick and snare hits. Though, oddly, there are no hi-hats. The production is strong throughout the pack, with a loud, energetic and characterful sound that never feels over-produced or squashed. If there’s a weak link to be found, it’s the music loops – some of the pads are too gritty.
