Finding the perfect vocal phrase to lift up an intro or add a hook to a track can be a tricky business. This new pack from Loopmasters provides plenty of useful material to get you started, with 282 samples divided into seven folders, plus seven accompanying sampler patches so they can be quickly previewed or performed.
First up, there are preaching-style male vocals with a mix of extended and shorter phrases that could be combined to create a longer passage. For what they are, they’re good, but there are only so many times you can hear someone preaching about house music.
Of much more general interest are the sassy female attitude vocals, and vogue ball phrases that could be used to add a more original twist to a track. There are also a handful of effects versions with some quite extreme processing, which serve as a good example of how the clean phrases could potentially be manipulated.
