Dutch producer Rene Amesz has compiled some signature dirty-house sounds from his vault for this latest pack from Loopmasters. The collection contains 501MB of 24-bit audio in a range of format options, which includes 298 loops, 108 one-shots and 46 sampler patches. For the most part, the ‘raw’ in the title is achieved through saturation, oscillator detuning and the liberal use of short and bright-room reverbs to bring the parts to life. There are groovy deep-filtered bass tones, rave stabs and bleepy arps, alongside a handful of effects loops and builds.
However, the best part is arguably the drums, which feature a balance of creative-sounding percussion production, alongside simpler foundational loops. The one-shots round off the package with lovely thick-sounding analogue bass and synth hits, and a handful of chunky effected drum sounds. This is an excellent collection for anyone writing house and tech tracks.
