U-he’s Diva is a powerhouse instrument for vintage synth sounds. But it’s flexible enough to create modern-sounding patches too. This new pack from Mind Flux features 100 presets that cover lively plucks, throbbing basses, dissonant pads, searing leads and moving sequences. Though it’s aimed at tech house producers, the patches lean more towards bleepy techno rather than the sounds heard in commercial club tracks.
It features fine use of Diva’s built-in effects, even if it overdoes the reverb on some patches. Judicious use of resonance can lead to some especially juicy timbres, though they may need reining in with EQ to help them sit in the mix. This is a well-crafted pack that shows off Diva’s wild side.
