This weighty, dark cinematic pack has been inspired by the works of the late, great Jóhann Jóhannsson. It totals 1.22GB, which might seem a lot for only 188 samples. However, they range from eight seconds to almost two minutes in length, and sport plenty of modulation, movement and subtle, shifting sonic progression.
There are folders of atmospheres, basses, subs, textures, rhythms and sound effects that feature a mixture of rumbling drones and cavernous layered synths. The quality and sound design is exceptional throughout, with plenty of detail, and a filtered but expansive-sounding finish that would work well as an underscore. The blend of pitched and more atonal sounds ups the flexibility. Our only criticism is that the LFO’s panning can be quite noticeable.
