Festival Pop fuses elements of future bass, trap and electronica in a pristine 2GB collection that includes tropical beats, funky synth basses, pitch vocal leads, and mainroom FX. You’ll find folders of tight, drum loops, and layered musical ideas, and a varied collection of drum hits, with 10 accompanying sampler instruments.
The bulk of the pack however, comes in the form of nine extended Construction Kits with individual parts, wet and dry versions, MIDI files, Serum presets and even some suggested insert-chain screenshots and FX presets, although these are a little confusing when taken out of context.
You also get 40 Serum presets, 9 Cubase projects for each kit, and 10 multisampled instruments for Ableton Live, plus a couple of short sound-design tutorial PDFs with audio examples. Although we found the sound to be a little too glossy, digital and brittle at times, the accompanying writing and programming are both excellent.
