Learn how to edit multiple clips at once in Ableton Live 10
By selecting multiple clips, you can see how one part will interact with others, which is ideal for staying in key and for programming across several channels.
At this point, we know loads about programming MIDI clips in Ableton Live 10 and how we can make clips more interesting. Live has another clever feature that is easy to miss – multiple MIDI clip editing. This allows you to simultaneously edit the MIDI data in more than one MIDI clip, giving you a reference point for key and timing across several instruments. Programming drums or creating a complex melody line is made much easier with this method and in this week’s Ableton Live Tutorial, our Live expert Liam O’Mullane shows you everything you need to know about this technique.
