Get to grips with Step FX in Logic Pro X

Logic Pro X comes built with a vast amount of features to create intriguing sounds, unique instruments and sophisticated mixes. We’ve covered a significant amount of these in our Logic Pro Tips video tutorials, but we’re yet to explore the Step FX multi-effect plug-in within Apple’s DAW. Which, as you’ll see, can be used to really go above and beyond what’s possible with manual automation and knob-twiddling.
Our Logic Pro expert, Jono Buchanan, once again guides you through this feature and gets you familiar with each parameter and what it’s capable of. Step FX is used to adjust parameters, like filter cutoff for example, in a step sequence fashion, with adjustable speeds and depths to experiment with.
