After looking at Step FX last week, Jono Buchanan now takes us through Logic Pro X‘s Phat FX, a multi-effect insert that can pack a punch. Our Logic Pro Tips video shows you how Phat FX can be used to add flair to your sounds, with insight into the different functions, algorithms and models of each effect.

There’s also a pleasing amount of modulation options built into Phat FX, including a neat XY pad to quickly morph your instruments. Jono demonstrates how the various modulation sources can be used effectively and creatively to achieve interesting results from just one insert effect.
