How to use Logic Pro X’s Project Alternatives and save multiple versions of your track

It’s common for producers to create different versions of a track to try out different arrangements, mix settings and other adjustments. More often than not, this leads to multiple files left on their computer with names like: Project1 mix1; Project1 double chorus; Project1 more bass!!! and…you get the idea.

Logic Pro X has a useful tool that can keep your hard drive a little more organised. Project Alternatives can be used to save different versions of a project in the same session, with the ability to recall and A/B the versions. In this Logic Pro Tips video, Jono Buchanan shows you how powerful this feature can be in the creation of your tracks.
