Point Blank has teamed up with Danish DJ/producer Faustix for a tutorial on creating an EDM track in Logic. Having worked with Diplo and Major Lazer and released tracks on Monstercat, Epic Records and Atlantic, he’s got some serious credentials.
In the video, Faustix gives us a comprehensive breakdown of his track Bailamos. He explains how he blends two sub-genres of EDM – Moombahton and Psytrance – to create the tune. He also sheds light on some plug-ins used to compose the track, including Xfer Serum, Waves Maserati GTi and Soundtoys’ Little AlterBoy.
