At this year’s BPM Show in Birmingham, Point Blank took over the Learning Zone in partnership with Ableton. While Ableton provided the Push controllers and iMacs loaded with their popular DAW, we took care of the tutorial side, giving live deconstructions, demos and advice to anyone who visited our booth.

It was a big success and we had hundreds of eager and excited punters through the doors. As part of our tutorial schedule, we broke down two tracks suggested via our Facebook page and showed the BPM audience exactly how they were made. In this tutorial, course tutor Paul Crossman takes apart Chase and Status’s retro raver Count On Me in Ableton Live and shows how it was made in front of a live audience.

You can watch the video above and make sure you subscribe to our YouTube channel for more free tutorials, interviews and live events. Visit Point Blank for more information on our courses.
