You may have a stock of samples or audio loops that have some good concepts but don’t really feel like ‘your sound’. Maybe they’re too slow for your project or you want it to play in a different sequence. Naturally, Cubase has a wealth of features to transform audio loops. You can reverse sounds, duplicate a specific region, mute a region, time-stretch a melody and much more.

In this Cubase tutorial, Bruce Aisher shows you how to make the most of audio loops within Cubase. Whether these loops come from Cubase’s MediaBay or your own samples folder, you’ll learn how to transform them with time-stretching, processing, chopping them up and more. You’ll also learn how to turn multiple audio events into one part for easier arranging.

We’re starting off with the basics and gradually move into more advanced and creative techniques, as in our Logic Tips and Ableton Live Tutorials series. Subscribe to our newsletter and YouTube Channel for weekly updates on new videos and content.
