Plugin Boutique is giving away AudioThing’s Wave Box for free with every purchase in March 2021. The waveshaping plug-in would usually set you back £43.

Wave Box is a distortion unit built around two waveshapers, Curve 1 and Curve 2, each boasting six waveshapes: tanh, sinh, sin, linear, floor and round. Your own waveshaping curves can be designed by combining the six waveshapes. Both waveshapers can be modulated by two LFOs and an envelope follower.

Symmetrical and Asymmetrical mode change the behaviour of the two shapers. Asymmetrical mode means that Curve 1 shapes the positive side of the audio with Curve 2 shaping the negative. Symmetrical mode will have both shapers processing the signal as a whole.

Wave Box will let you apply a range of distortion intensities, from subtle tube-style saturation to extreme digital harshness.

Thanks to some of the other sales going on at Plugin Boutique at the moment, you can pick up Wave Box for free alongside W.A Production’s The King 2, a multi-band compression plug-in, at £3.95. If you’re a Native Instruments Massive X user, you can also pick up Massive Dubstep, a pack of dubstep presets, for £3.95.

A wide range of plug-ins from SoundSpot are also on sale, with 12 products on sale for £3.95. Simply put, there’s a ton of affordable ways to get your hands on Wave Box and a few other pieces of software.

To claim the discount, simply add any product from the Plugin Boutique store into your cart., then click the box that says you wish to receive a free gift.
