Spitfire Audio announces BBC Symphony Orchestra instrument
The library was recorded at the iconic Maida Vale studios.
Spitfire Audio tonight launched a huge new product – a team-up with the BBC Symphony Orchestra recorded at Maida Vale, the iconic recording studio belonging to the Beeb that’s due to be decommissioned imminently.
The British virtual instrument maker has worked with the world-famous symphony orchestra to produce an instrument boasting 20 signals, 55 instruments across brass, strings, woodwinds and percussion, played by 99 players and a whopping 418 playing techniques.
As with their other recent instruments, Spitfire Audio has moved away from NI’s Kontakt in favour of their own virtual instrument plug-in which runs in VST2, VST3, AU, AAX and NKS.
