FL Studio‘s Playlist contains Audio, MIDI and Automation Clips, all of which can be manipulated in a variety of ways to quickly progress your project. But each type of Clip has its own properties which you need to be aware of – they might be able to streamline your workflow.
In this beginner’s tutorial, Max Venus gives you an overview of the different types of Clips in FL Studio’s Playlist. You’ll learn what each Clip type can do and how to add variation to both MIDI and Audio Clips by chopping and changing. You’ll also get a quick glance into Automation Clips to make instant volume fades.
We’re starting off with the basics in our FL Studio Tips series, gradually moving into more advanced and creative techniques, as in our Logic Tips and Ableton Live Tutorials series. Subscribe to our newsletter and YouTube Channel for weekly updates on new videos and content.
