Point Blank’s brand new Trance / EDM module is up and running and to celebrate they’ve got a brand new tutorial series led by module instructor, and trance legend in his own right, Mike Koglin (Armada Music, Anjunabeats, Ministry of Sound). Using his latest release ‘Kosmonaut’ on Perfecto Black (already supported by Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz and Paul Oakenfold) Mike breaks down the mix to show you how he produced the track. In part one, Mike looks at the drums and how he made them using a combination of samples, synthesis, EQ and compression.
